OUTSIDE SHOWS

“I would like to thank you and the other members of Brick Lane Music Hall for providing such wonderful entertainment for our residents and guests at Rowanweald Nursing Home.  For young and old alike, it was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.  It’s difficult to say who enjoyed it more – residents or staff!  Even now, a month after the event, the residents are still talking about it, and looking forward to being able to invite the company back again in the future”

Brick Lane Music Hall’s work as a charity involves offering matinee shows to the elderly with afternoon tea and reminiscence music hall show at our premises in Silvertown.

As this kind of entertainment means so much to so many, some of whom are unable to travel to us, we take a “travelling music hall” show out to care homes, hospitals and hospices.

The travelling show usually includes three professional performers and a musician, together with associated equipment and a period set. They perform in venues all over the East End and London, travelling in the Brick Lane Music Hall van, which was bought with funds raised in specially organised charity events.

The value of laughter and familiar music and song is now a recognised form of therapy for those with long-term illness or memory loss. It can provide a welcome boost for those who are able mentally but find themselves confined, as well as for staff and carers.

The shows are hugely enjoyed by young and old alike. Brick Lane Music Hall has a flexible approach which means each show is tailored to the needs of the audience and venue. For this reason we are unable to offer a fixed price for the show, but will be happy to quote on an individual basis.

Please call the box office to discuss your requirements.
